Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship for Single Girl Child aims to promote the education of single girl child and encourages them for pursuing research work leading to the award of a Ph.D. degree. This fellowship has no fixed limit of slots and the total tenure of the Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship would be for five years.
Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship Eligibility
Any single girl child pursuing a Ph.D. in any stream/subject in recognized universities/colleges/ institutes, who are registered in regular, full-time Ph.D. programs can apply for this fellowship. The age limit for general category candidates is 40 years while for the reserved category candidates its 45 years.
